What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination relaxes and redirects your brow hairs into a fuller, lifted shape, finished with a nourishing serum or oil. Results typically last 4–8 weeks. To keep the laminated look, brush your brows into place daily with a spoolie. Tint and lamination are often done together.
What is brow tinting?
A brow tint enhances, shapes and defines your brows with a semi-permanent dye, so they look fuller without extra effort. It also tints the fine hairs around your brows for a longer-looking natural shape. May has colors to match your hair and skin tone for a seamless blend.
A time-saver for busy schedules, with minimal maintenance. Results typically last 3–6 weeks.

Brow aftercare
After tint: avoid water, steam, saunas, swimming and heavy sweating for 24 hours; skip oil-based products on brows; no exfoliating or retinol near brows for 48 hours.
After lamination: keep brows dry and product-free for 24 hours; brush into place daily; avoid sleeping face-down the first night; no steam, saunas or swimming for 48 hours; apply brow oil or serum as recommended; no tinting, waxing or threading for 2 weeks.
Will my brow tint match my hair?
Yes. May has colors to match your hair and skin tone.
Do laminated brows need daily styling?
Yes. Brush them into place daily with a spoolie to keep the laminated look.
Can I wax or thread my brows right before lamination?
Please tell May if you’ve waxed or threaded your brows in the last 48 hours. After lamination, avoid tinting, waxing or threading for 2 weeks.
Waxing
What is hair waxing?
Hair waxing is a temporary way to lift hair from the root. Warm or cold wax is applied in the direction the hair lies and pulls out the entire hair shaft from the follicle. Skin stays smooth for three to six weeks.

Before your wax
- Hair should be at least ¼ inch (0.5 cm) long
- First waxing visit, especially Brazilian? Please bring a photo ID
- Clients must be 18+ or have parent/guardian consent
- Tell May about allergies, skin conditions, recent sunburn, laser or peels, Accutane in the past 6–12 months, retinoids or blood thinners. Waxing can’t be done over irritated or broken skin.
Waxing aftercare
For 24–48 hours, avoid sun exposure, hot baths, saunas, tight clothing and fragranced products. Regular exfoliation and moisturizing can help reduce ingrown hairs.
How long will my skin stay smooth after waxing?
Skin stays smooth for three to six weeks.
How long should my hair be for waxing?
At least ¼ inch (0.5 cm).
Do I need ID for a Brazilian?
Yes, a photo ID is required at check-in on your first waxing appointment, especially for Brazilian waxing.

Permanent makeup (PMU) is a cosmetic technique that places colored pigments into the upper layer of the skin with specialized hand tools or a digital machine, to mimic the look of everyday makeup. Common PMU services include brows, eyeliner and lips. At CHIQUE AESTHETIC, Nano Ombre Brows are May’s main focus.
What are Nano Ombre Brows?
Nano Ombre is a soft, powdery brow technique that creates the look of filled-in brows with a gradient effect. An ultra-fine digital machine needle draws realistic hairs alongside pixel-shaded powder. The front stays soft and airy, gradually deepening toward the arch and tail. It works well for most skin types.
